Motor Marks will provide a valuation
for your registration number and offer you a clear sum which we believe
represents its true market value. Should you wish to adjust this figure to
your own desired amount please note that this could affect its saleability.
On receiving a quotation, if you
would like Motor Marks to advertise it for you please send in written/email
confirmation authorising us to do so.
On finding a Purchaser we will
prepare and advise on the Transfer Application. If the registration number
is on a vehicle the donor vehicle must be either currently MOT'd and Taxed
or have been taxed within the last 6 months. The £80 transfer fee is payable
by the Purchaser. Please note that provided the vehicle
is roadworthy it can be driven on the road throughout the transfer period.
On completion of the transfer your
vehicle will automatically be issued with a replacement registration number
relevant to it's year and the Vehicle Registration Office will amend your
tax disc and MOT certificate without charge to you.
If the registration number is held on a
V750/V778 Retention Certificate/Certificate of Entitlement, in order for the number to be
transferred a nominee has to be changed/added. This incurs a fee of
£25.00 which is payable by you and is dealt with via DVLA Swansea. Any
transfer fees that have already been paid will be re-imbursed to you on
receipt of the amended V750/V778 and completion of the transfer.
